The Rosanero have won just one match in Serie A this term, languishing in 19th place, but the 71-year-old is of the opinion that his men can overcome their lowly position and end up in the top half come May.
“We have to start our season from scratch,” he told La Repubblica. “This team might not be able to fight for a top three place, but I am convinced that the results will come soon and we can position ourselves firmly in the top half of the table.”
