Palermo vice-President Guglielmo Micciche believes his side have what it takes to overcome Juventus this weekend.

The Rosanero host Antonio Conte's men, and the board member is confident that, after their unfortunate loss against Inter last Sunday, they can defeat the current League leaders.

“I thought for a moment we could win against Inter,” he told Radio Radio Palermo. “They didn't have many opportunities to score, so it's regretful that we didn't come away with some points.

“But we are ready to go. The team showed they can match anyone.

“The Juventus battleship is coming our way this Sunday, but fortunately the Renzo Barbera is starting to become something of a fortress for us.

“They also come to Palermo after Champions League commitments, so I hope that that will waste some precious energy.”

He also commented on their attacking options ahead of the match.

“Paulo Dybala is becoming a very important player for us,” he said. “He is growing well in terms of personality and character, as well as from a technical point of view.

“Fabrizio Miccoli will also be available. He is key to us. With him on the field we have a much better chance of winning.

“Josep Ilicic has become critical to our good form,” he continued. “I am happy with him because now he is starting to play for the team more.”
