Rodrigo Palacio is happy to be making a difference for Inter after an injury-affected start to his Nerazzurri career.

The 30-year-old joined the San Siro giants from Genoa in the summer, but he has been limited to just three Serie A games so far.

“I'm over my injury now,” he stated after scoring the only goal of the game in the win over Partizan Belgrade. “I've already got two goals and I hope to keep on scoring.”

Inter are now in a strong position to qualify for the next stage after collecting seven points from nine on offer so far in the Europa League.

“It was an important win that leaves us top and means we can relax a little bit for the rest of the group,” he continued.

Inter have found some form after a stuttering beginning to their season and Palacio has his eyes on the clash against the Italian champions on Saturday 3 November.

“We're slowly edging towards the big match against Juventus, but we have a couple of big games before then,” he stated.

“We're a great team and we want to show that again on Sunday at Bologna.”
