“We hope to put in a great performance and to win, as winning a derby is the best feeling in the world,” the striker told Inter Channel.
“It is a special game, the most important game of the year. All the fans are waiting anxiously for it to start and so are we. We’ll give our all to win.”
This also represents the first match with Roberto Mancini in charge after Walter Mazzarri was sacked last week.
“We worked hard and fortunately had the break for international duty so we could get to know the Coach better. We are in good shape going into this game.”
Palacio has not scored yet in Serie A this season, missing some sitters, but is confident it’s only a question of time.
“I am relaxed. I don’t care so much about scoring goals, as I prefer to play well and help the team. Obviously it’s important to score, but it is more important to get a result.”
