Roma could hijack Inter’s proposed move for Rodrigo Palacio of Genoa, his agent has commented.

The Argentine was thought to be on his way to San Siro, but Roma are just one of numerous other clubs interested.

“It’s true that Roma are keen on Palacio,” representative Aytekin Erayabakan told Radio Mana Mana.

“Both us and Genoa have been in contact with the Giallorossi. It’s clear that wearing their shirt would be a great achievement for anyone.

“They are a great club with great players, but I want to underline that Rodrigo is very happy at Genoa.

“You have to consider that my client is very attached to Genoa and if it was just up to him then he would stay.

“I think there is a 50 per cent chance that the boy could change clubs, also because there are other sides who have made offers to be evaluated too.”

The 29-year-old joined Genoa in 2009 from Boca Juniors.
