The 24-year-old moved to the Stadio Tardini in the summer from Atletico Nacional, but he has yet to score in 12 Serie A games for the Gialloblu.
“Pabon is close to an Espanyol loan transfer,” agent Riccardo Calleri told Parma Today on Monday afternoon.
“We think that will be the best solution. There has been talk of a switch to Independiente and a number of clubs closer to home, but we would prefer a high level League and Spain seems the best option.”
Pabon is a Colombian international.
