Gabriel Barbosa will reportedly leave Inter on loan in January but only to a team outside Italy.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Gabigol will be sent away to gain first-team experience – but not to another Serie A team, thus ruling out the likes of Pescara and Empoli who were previously linked with the Brazilian.

Beneamata boss Stefano Pioli hinted over the weekend that the former Santos starlet would be moved on as, “in attack, there’s so much competition.”

Gabigol was a substitute against Milan in Pioli’s first game as Inter Coach but still has just 16 minutes of action under his belt.
