A 14-year-old has been banned from football for a year in Italy after dropping his shorts in front of a female referee and making sexual advances.
However, his ban will be halved if he enrols on a re-education course in his hometown of Venice.
The incident happened on May 22 during a youth match, where referee Giulia Nicastro was already subjected to sexist insults from parents.
However, the worst was still to come as the teenager proceeded to pull down his shorts in front of the 22-year-old before taking a corner.

“Let’s see if you have the courage to send me off or…” he told Nicastro, who sent the player off after he invited her to engage in sexual acts.
The parents, on the other hand, have so far escaped punishment, despite their insults growing louder as the game went on.
