Andre Onana warns Inter must walk a tight balancing act between showing ‘no fear’ and recognising the job against Benfica in the Champions League isn’t yet done.

The goalkeeper performed a crucial save with the final kick of the game to keep the clean sheet at the Estadio da Luz, allowing them to go into the second leg on April 19 with a 2-0 advantage.

“I always say you must have no fear. I am happy with the work done by the team, we worked hard against an excellent opponent,” Onana told Mediaset.

“However, we must not make the mistake of thinking we are already in the semi-final. Now the focus turns to Monza, where we need to recover points in Serie A.”

The 2-0 victory in Lisbon was decided by Nicolò Barella’s header and a Romelu Lukaku penalty.

The clean sheet means none of the Italian teams have yet conceded a single goal in the Champions League knockout rounds this season.
