Former Torino boss Gianni De Biasi is sure that Angelo Ogbonna – a possible replacement at Milan for Thiago Silva – will be a future star.
The Italian international, part of the Azzurri’s Euro 2012 squad, is being linked with a possible move from Toro to the San Siro after Silva was sold to Paris Saint-Germain.
“Replacing Thiago Silva will not be easy for anybody,” De Biasi noted to Sky Sport Italia. “But Angelo will certainly have an important future.
“Angelo can play as a full-back or in the middle of a four-man defence. He can still improve as a player and he has the qualities to do well in Serie A.”
The 24-year-old is a product of Torino’s youth system who spent the 2007-08 campaign on loan at Crotone.
