Angelo Ogbonna of Serie B side Torino has been called up to the Italy squad for the game against the Republic of Ireland.

Azzurri boss Cesare Prandelli last night suggested that the 23-year-old would be added to his Nazionale squad after the 3-0 win over Estonia.

That selection has been made official this morning and Ogbonna will thus be available for Tuesday's friendly in Liege.

In being selected, Ogbonna becomes the first Torino player to enter the Giro Azzurro for almost four years.
