Only Pierluigi Gollini, Amir Rrahmani and Juan Jesus are not available for Napoli for tonight’s Champions League game against Real Madrid.
There are no surprises in the squad list released by Napoli coach Rudi Garcia on Tuesday morning given that Gollini, Rrahman and Juan Jesus were expected to not be available against Real Madrid tonight.
Garcia has called up 23 players for the second Champions League group stage game of 2023-24. Polish goalkeeper Hubert Idasiak, 21, has been included in the team in place of the injured Gollini, while Luigi D’Avino is the added centre-back replacing Juan Jesus and Rrahmani.
Natan and Leo Ostigard will start in central defence for the Partenopei tonight.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen are available as expected and will start up front with Matteo Politano.
Neither the Italian winger nor Osimhen started against Lecce on Saturday, but both scored after being introduced from the bench in the second half.
Napoli and Real Madrid won their opening Champions League games this season against Braga and Union Berlin, respectively.
