Newly-promoted Genoa and Frosinone have made official new signings today, the Grifone getting Aaron Martin and the Canarini picking up Giorgi Kvernadze.

These clubs took the top two places in the Serie B championship last season, therefore earning automatic promotion to Serie A, while Cagliari got through the play-offs.

Martin was a free agent after his experience at Mainz, having also played for Celta Vigo and Espanyol.

The 26-year-old plays as a left-back or a more advanced player on the left wing of the midfield.

As for Frosinone, they secured Georgian talent Kvernadze from Kolkheti Poti on loan with an option to buy.

The 20-year-old plays on the left side of attack and as a striker, so has been compared to Napoli sensation Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.
