Serie A strugglers Salernitana have confirmed the appointment of Davide Nicola after the sacking of Stefano Colantuono.
The newly-promoted Serie A sit rock bottom of the Serie A table with only 13 points in 23 matches. They announced the sacking of Stefano Colantuono in the morning and have just confirmed the appointment of Davide Nicola as his successor.
The Granata failed to reveal the length of Nicola’s contract. The former Crotone coach is Salernitana’s third coach this season after Fabrizio Castori and Colantuono.
Castori was sacked in October after collecting four points in the opening eight Serie A matches. Colantuono managed nine points in his 16 matches in charge.
