Fiorentina have secured a deal for Chivas Guadalajara and Mexico centre-back Carlos Salcedo.
The Viola released a statement this morning confirming he will arrive on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Salcedo will fly in for a medical on Tuesday.
Mexican media Record and Televisa claim the option to buy is worth €7m.
Chivas are due to receive €7m for the 22-year-old, while the player will sign a four-year contract.
