Juventus have officially signed Roberto Pereyra from Udinese on loan with option to pay for a total €15.5m.

“I’m feeling good and I’m very happy to be here,” the 23-year-old told JTV.

“I’ve joined a great team, where you have to play well week in, week out. Now I’m just waiting to start training so I can be available for the Coach.

“It’s obviously going to be difficult to break into the starting XI, but I’m just going to train alongside my teammates so that I can learn from them.

“Maybe once I start playing, I’ll be able to show what I can do. I’m a pacey player and I love to dribble. I always try to help out the team and offer something extra.

“Hello to all the Bianconeri fans, I can’t wait to play in front of you and bring some excitement.”

The Argentine passed his medical and finally completed the transfer this afternoon with an announcement on the Bianconeri website.

He will arrive on an initial one-season loan worth €1.5m, then there is an option to buy for €14m to be paid over three years.

“This fee could be increased by €1.5m should Pereyra achieve certain predefined sporting targets by 30 June 2020.”
