Veteran Chievo striker Sergio Pellissier will play a 17th season for the club, after signing a one-year contract extension.
The 39-year-old is the Flying Donkeys’ all-time top goalscorer, and he has scored over 100 Serie A goals for the Veronese club.
“ChievoVerona and Sergio Pellissier together again for another year!” a statement on the club’s website announces.
“The Gialloblù are pleased to announce the renewal of the captain's contract until 30/06/2019.”

Pellissier made his debut for the club back in 2002, and has captained Chievo in 201 matches.
