Napoli have sent Alberto Grassi back to his old club Atalanta on loan just six months after arriving.
The 21-year-old midfielder was signed for €8m in January, but sustained an injury in his first training session.
Grassi is yet to make a competitive appearance in the Napoli jersey.
A statement confirmed he will go back to Atalanta on loan this season.
He’ll get regular playing time at the Stadio Azzurri d’Italia under Coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
