Sampdoria have officially sold Niklas Moisander to Werder Bremen, announced the Blucerchiati.
The deal had been in the works over the past few days and was finalised on Saturday evening.
Finland international Moisander only joined Sampdoria as a free agent from Ajax a year ago.
Although no financial details were disclosed, the move is believed to be worth almost €2m.
