Juric only took over the Hellas Verona job last summer after their promotion via the Serie B play-offs.

They’ve been comfortably mid-table throughout the campaign, with Juric implementing his style of football that comes from being the protégé of Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini.

The Croatian tactician turns 45 next month and spent most of his career in Italy, both as a player at Crotone and Genoa from 2001 to his retirement in 2010, and as a coach.

He was assistant to Gasperini at Genoa, Inter and Palermo, then broke out on his own for Mantova, Crotone, Genoa and Verona.
