Inter have officially announced the arrival of Juan Cuadrado, who has joined on a free transfer following his departure from Juventus.

The 35-year-old Colombian ended an eight-year spell with the Bianconeri earlier this month, not being offered a new contract by the club.

As announced today, Cuadrado has now officially joined Inter, signing a one-year contract reportedly worth around €2.5m net, with an option for a second season.

The former Juventus winger will immediately join Simone Inzaghi and his new Nerazzurri teammates at their pre-season training retreat in Lugano.

During his eight years in Turin, Cuadrado made 314 appearances across all competitions for Juventus, scoring 26 goals and providing 65 assists. He helped the team win five Scudetti, four Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.

When reports emerged regarding the Colombian’s move to Inter, fans initially reacted with hostility due to his history with the Old Lady, meaning he’ll have to prove himself in the Lombardy capital.
