Fiorentina have officially announced the signing of Greece international Panagiotis Kone from Udinese.
The deal was reported earlier, with Zebrette sporting director Cristiano Giaretta then confirming the switch.
The deal is for an intial loan, but Udinese confirmed on their official website that Fiorentina will have the option to buy.
Former Bologna midfielder Kone has struggled with injury problems this season, making only five league appearances for Udinese as a result.

The 28-year-old is experienced in Serie A, having scored 14 goals in 158 outings for Brescia, Bologna and the Bianconeri.
“Fiorentina announce that they have reached an agreement with Udinese for the temporary signing of the player Panagiotis Kone,” read a statement on the Fiorentina's official website.
“Kone, born in Tirana in Albania but a naturalised Greek, has represented AEK Athens, Iraklis, Brescia and Bologna.
“Kone has also worn the Greek national shirt 28 times, scoring two goals.”
