However, the two clubs failed to agree terms on a sale, so they have renewed the loan for another 12 months at a cost of €1.75m, to be paid over three instalments.
The official Juventus website also confirmed the contract includes a buy-out clause to be activated by April 30 2013 that would allow Galatasaray to buy Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo for €6.5m.
