Italy winger Stephan El Shaarawy has tested positive for Covid-19, Italy's doctor revealed.
“El Shaarawy feels well and is in good conditions,” ensured Andrea Ferretti ahead of Roberto Mancini's press conference on Tuesday.
“He had a positive swab, with a low viral load which suggests he could be a false positive.
“As per protocol the whole team group was again tested, and the player has also performed a serological test that was negative”.
