Roma have officially sent Brazilian full-back Dodo to Inter on a two-year loan, but is effectively a purchase for €9m.
The negotiations had been going for several days and was confirmed by a statement on the official Roma website.
The player, full name Jose Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro, is loaned to Inter for two seasons at a cost of €1.2m.
However, the statement notes “this includes an obligatory buy-out clause for €7.8m to be activated at the player’s first official game.”

The 22-year-old left-back only arrived at Roma from Corinthians in July 2012.
