Serie B side Spezia have officially appointed Udinese legend Antonio Di Natale to their backroom staff.
A statement on Spezia’s official website confirms Di Natale has been taken on as a consultant and ‘technical collaborator’, working with their first team.
The former Italy striker is sixth on the list of all-time Serie A goalscorers, with 191 of his 209 goals coming for Udinese.
The 40-year-old also worked under Spezia boss Pasquale Marino at Friuli, while this marks his first non-playing role since retiring in 2016.
