SPAL have officially signed Poland international defender Thiago Cionek from Palermo.
The move was completed this evening and he put pen to paper on a contract running to June 2020.
His current deal with Palermo was due to expire at the end of the season, so he was released for a minimal fee.
The 31-year-old was born in Brazil and has been in Italy since 2012 with Padova, Modena and Palermo.
