Jose Callejon has extended his Napoli contract until 2020, the club has confirmed.
The attacking midfielder was under contract until 2018, but the Partenopei have sought to ward off interest in the Spaniard by tying him to a new deal.
“SSC Napoli is pleased to announce the renewal of Jose Callejon’s contract until 2020,” a short statement on the Vesuviani’s official website announced.

Callejon has impressed since joining the Neapolitan side from Real Madrid, scoring 33 goals and providing 16 assists in his three Serie A seasons.
In addition, the 29-year-old got three goals and five assists in last season’s Europa League.
