“Torino Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Lucas Boyé, as of 1 July 2016,” a statement on Toro’s website read.

“Boyé was born in San Gregorio, Argentina on February 28, 1996. He came through the ranks at River Plate, making his debut in the Primera Division, and played for Newells Old Boys last season, making six appearances and scoring once.”

It's a surprise move, as River had previously claimed Boyé would move to Roma in the summer.
