Bologna star Marko Arnautovic has not been called up for tomorrow’s away game against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona.
The Austria international is dealing with low back pain, so he won’t join his team in Naples, where tomorrow the Rossoblu face table leaders Napoli at 17.00 UK time.
Arnautovic has played a key role for Bologna this season, having scored six of their eight Serie A goals.
New signing Joshua Zirkzee is expected to replace the ex-Inter striker up front tomorrow.
Bologna have had a tough start to the season, which cost the job to Sinisa Mihajlovic, who was sacked last month.
However, his replacement Thiago Motta is struggling to turn things around as Bologna have earned two points in three games with the ex-Italy international in charge.
The only match won by the Rossoblu this season was under interim coach Luca Vigiani: a 2-1 win against Fiorentina at the Stadio Dall’Ara on September 11.
