Chievo have officially sold midfielder Samuel Bastien to Standard Liege, as he returns to Belgium for €3m plus bonuses.
The 21-year-old had been in Italy since 2015, first for Avellino and then Chievo Verona.
Bought from RSC Anderlecht for €1.3m in 2016, he has reportedly been sold for over double that figure – €3m plus another €1m in potential bonuses.
Bastien played 35 competitive games for Chievo, scoring two goals.
