Juventud striker Jaime Baez will sign for Fiorentina, the Uruguayan club has confirmed.
The 20-year-old, who has been touted as the next Luis Suarez will have a medical on Wednesday, before officially signing for the Viola.
“It’s official, Jaime Baez will go to Italy,” Juventud wrote on their official Facebook page.
“After medical examinations, he will sign a contract with ACF Fiorentina. Congratulations, and good luck.”

Baez has two goals in 16 appearances for the Uruguayan Under 20s, and had previously been linked with Liverpool.
