Oddo’s Biancocelesti background and impressive spell with the Delfini has resulted in speculation that he could take over from Inzaghi this summer, but he has rejected the suggestion.

“I’ve never wished back luck on anyone in my life because I’m not envious, I’m happy for both Simone Inzaghi and Cristian Brocchi, they’ve paid their dues and they deserve it,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I’m happy at Pescara, I hope to continue doing well and to be the Pescara Coach next year as well.”
