Marseille winger Lucas Ocampos has arrived in Italy to complete his move to Genoa.
The 22-year-old had been the subject of a transfer battle between the Grifone and Fiorentina, but it was reported yesterday that the port city side has secured his signature.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website carries a picture of Ocampos arriving to finalise the deal, with the Argentinian declaring himself “very happy”.

It’s thought he will arrive on an initial loan deal, with a mandatory redemption clause if he plays a certain number of matches.
Ocampos first came to Europe when he joined Monaco in a €13m deal from River Plate, and he joined Marseille in January of 2015.
