Douglas Maicon’s agent has dismissed suggestions that the Inter player will require surgery at the end of the season.
Whispers over the last 24 hours were saying that the Brazilian would require another operation on his knee.
“There are no results from the tests which suggest that surgery is necessary,” Roberto Calenda told Inter Live.

“He’s just picked up an injury which he needs a small amount of time to recover from. As always, Maicon will return better than ever.”
Calenda was also questioned on the 30-year-old’s future given that he’s been linked with a summer move away.
“There will be a meeting with Inter in June where we will discuss everything,” the representative commented.
