Cesare Prandelli has confirmed that during the World Cup social networking will be banned for Italian players.

Mario Balotelli was in hot water over the weekend after he refused, via Twitter, to be part of an anti-Camorra campaign against organised crime.

And the Coach has revealed that in Brazil, things will be different.

“During the World Cup, the rules will be a lot tougher,” he told Rai Sport.

“I don’t know if there’s a campaign against Mario, I just know that he is always under pressure.

“Mario is still a guy who lives like the young guy he is, but sometimes he forgets that he is a world famous footballer.

“He has never created any problems for us though.”
