Antonio Floro Flores will have nothing to prove to former club Napoli when Udinese arrive at the Stadio San Paolo on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old fulfilled his dream of playing for his hometown club as a youngster, but he left the outfit in 2004.

He has been linked with a move back to the Azzurri on a number of occasions since, but no such transfer has ever materialised.

"Antonio is not looking for revenge against Napoli," his agent Paolo Palermo told Radio CRC. "It's likely that boss Walter Mazzarri didn't think he was right for his style of football.

"Floro Flores still loves the shirt of Napoli and he'll feel the same kind of emotion as he always does when playing against them."

The former Italian Under-21 international is now back at Udinese after he scored 10 goals in 18 games for Genoa during a six-month loan spell at Marassi.
