Inter are reportedly doing everything they can to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea and haven’t started to consider any alternative plans.

The 30-year-old’s future in shrouded in doubt following his return to West London last week, when his loan spell in the Lombardy capital drew to a close.

Lukaku has no intention of playing under Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea and rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia recently, waiting for a return to Inter.

Pages eight and nine of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport detail how all of Inter’s efforts are now focused on Lukaku following the deals for Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to bring the Belgian back on a €5m loan deal with a €30m obligation to buy clause attached.

This deal will be funded by the proceeds of the sale of Andre Onana to Manchester United, which could reach a breakthrough in the coming days.

There’s no plan B for Inter, who are convinced that a deal can be agreed to bring Lukaku back to the club this summer.
