Mircea Lucescu has warned Italian clubs interested in his services that he won’t be leaving Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Romanian, 67, has been linked with a return to former club Inter as a possible replacement for Andrea Stramaccioni.

However, the former Pisa, Brescia and Reggiana tactician has today committed his future to his Ukrainian outfit.

“I have a contract for another two years,” he told Radio Sportiva. “If anyone wants me then they should have looked for me before.

“Saying that, no Italian club has been in touch, but there are a number of European sides who did make contact.”

Lucescu’s contract with Shakhtar was set to expire in June, but he last month put pen to paper on a 24-month extension.
