Roberto Mancini’s Azzurri are due to play in London on March 27 and their trip to Germany on March 31 has already been ordered behind closed doors, but it seems as if there will be no restrictions on fans coming over for the England game.

The England FA insists their friendly with Italy at Wembley on March 27 will go ahead with fans present, despite the Coronavirus being upgraded to a pandemic and the death toll in Italy rising to 827.

“At present, and in line with current government advice, nothing has changed regarding the status of our games against Italy and Denmark later this month,” read a tweet from the England FA.

“We will be sure to inform fans should there be an update.”

The World Health Organization has upgraded the Coronavirus outbreak to a global pandemic.

The latest figures from Italy today show there have been another 196 deaths over the last 24 hours, taking the total up to 827, all of them registered in the last 19 days.

There are now 1,028 people in intensive care, with 5,838 in hospital, and over 12,000 have tested positive in the country.
