The President of Atletico Madrid insists there has been no contact with Chelsea or Milan regarding Fernando Torres – but doesn’t rule out a move.

The Spanish striker is on loan at San Siro from the English Premier League side, with the deal agreed to span two years.

However, Torres has scored just one goal for the Rossoneri so far this season, and hasn’t featured at all since the end of November in the Milan derby.

That has led to speculation that the World Cup winner could seek a move to the club where he began his career, Atletico Madrid.

German Burgos, assistant to the club’s Coach Diego Simeone has today admitted that he would like to see the move happen, and now Atleti’s President has had his say.

“There is nothing to tell you about Torres,” Enrique Cerezo told Marca.

“However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be…”
