The agent of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani insists there has been no contact with Napoli but “doesn’t know if things can change”.

PSG sporting director Patrick Kluivert appeared to rule out a move away for Cavani after his side’s 3-1 defeat to Monaco on Sunday, and while Fernando Cavani seconded the Dutchman in that there had been no approach from Napoli, he invited the Partenopei to make “a satisfactory offer”.

“Edi is very happy for the affection that the fans of Napoli are showing him,” the forward’s brother told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“This means that he left them with fond memories, but to date there hasn’t been any contact with Napoli.

“I don’t know if things at the end of the market can change, neither do I know if Napoli will present Paris Saint-Germain with a satisfactory offer.”
