“The initial objective was to concentrate on defence and then hit them on the counter. Unfortunately, we had a few physical issues, because several players were suffering from flu.
“Kevin Lasagna was affected the most and it wasn’t right to risk him coming off the bench in his condition. We did what we could and the performance was overall positive.
“If you know that you can’t dominate possession, then make do with what you’ve got. We’ve been up against some very strong opponents and picked up four points. Over the next three, we’ll have a better idea of what we ca achieve.”
