At a Press conference today he refused to take questions from the gathered reporters, insisting that all talking would be done on the pitch.

“I am motivated and rested,” Nicola said in a short statement. “The club are looking for us to put up a fight.

“Thinking about next season would mean we are giving up. Staying up will be a difficult challenge but it is not impossible.”

Nicola’s first game back in charge will be at home to Lazio” data-scaytid=”6″>Lazio on Sunday. The team are three points off safety with four matches of the season remaining.
