“Bologna are practically safe, but we are not and we want to continue the fight because we believe in our dreams,” said the tactician in his Press conference.

“It’s true that Bologna have done well so far this season in other relegation dogfights, but we have faith that we too can achieve safety. We’ve proved on the pitch that we can fight it out with anyone and the points we picked up don’t do justice to our performances.”

Crotone were unlucky last week, succumbing to a Ciro Immobile strike in stoppages for their 1-0 defeat to Lazio.

“We have clear ideas on what we need on the transfer market, but anyone who comes here must be super-motivated. If they are not, then I am ready to battle for safety with the players I have, as I have absolute faith in them.”

Aleksandar Tonev is still out injured with Djamel Mesbah at the Africa Cup of Nations, but goalkeeper Alex Cordaz returns from suspension.

Crotone squad for Bologna: Cordaz, Festa, Viscovo; Ceccherini, Dussenne, Dos Santos, Ferrari, Martella, Rosi, Sampirisi; Capezzi, Crisetig, Barberis, Gnahorè, Rohden, Salano, Sulijc; Falcinelli, Nalini, Palladino, Simy, Stoian, Trotta
