Nice have announced that Italian international Mario Balotelli will stay, aiming a swipe at Marseille in the process.

The striker didn’t turn up for the start of pre-season training, though he later did join the squad, with agent Mino Raiola working on a move to l’OM.

Today the Aiglons President said the situation was “complicated”, but tonight it has been announced that Super Mario is staying.

“The decision is made, Mario Balotelli has decided to stay at OGC Nice,” the club announced on Twitter.
