Napoli have raised their offer for Torino defender Nikola Maksimovic to €15m, according to reports.
Granata President Urbano Cairo had warned on Monday that the Partenopei’s previous bid of €12m ‘was not adequate’ and that ‘the market is closed for Maksimovic.’
However, Gazzetta dello Sport has reported today that the Vesuviani have not been put off and have launched a new bid for the defender, worth €15m plus bonuses.

The newspaper believes that Napoli have already agreed personal terms with the Serbia international of a four-year deal worth €1.7m per season.
This is believed to be around four times what the centre-back currently earns in Turin.
