Schalke 04 are believed to be interested in the 29-year-old, but Roberto Mancini’s side risk losing him for free if a new deal isn’t agreed soon.

Gazzetta also reports that Inter will decide in June whether or not to pay Galatasaray €8.5m to make Alex Telles’ move permanent, while the club are believed to be interested in Manchester City’s Pablo Zabaleta as a summer target.
