Sampdoria have reportedly offered Claudio Ranieri an extension until June 2022 and prepare to meet with midfielder Karol Linetty next week to discuss a new deal.

The Blucerchiati secured their place in Serie A with four games to spare and Ranieri, who’s current contract expires in June 2021, could be rewarded for his work so far.

Rai Sport claims Cagliari are following the Roman’s situation at the Marassi and that Samp are hoping to extend his deal worth €1.5m a year with a further year and fend off the interested clubs.
