Torino have announced a player from the first team has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Granata had to postpone the game scheduled on February 25 against Sassuolo and then couldn't travel for the following match against Lazio on March 2 due to an outbreak in the team group.
The club has now announced a new case of COVID-19 in the first team squad, who is placed in quarantine.

“Torino Football Club announce that, during the constant examinations provided for by the protocol in force, the positivity to COVID-19 for a player in the first team has emerged,” the club wrote in a statement.
“The player, in agreement with the health authorities, has already been placed in fiduciary isolation under the supervision of the Granata medical staff.
“Torino FC will continue to follow the procedure provided for by the protocols in force. This will allow players who test negative to carry out the regular activity.”
The Granata never reveal the identity of their players positive for COVID, but ANSA reports it is Salvatore Sirigu who contracted the virus.
If that will be confirmed, he would be the sixth Italy player to test positive for COVID.
